hippygeorge I ran into the same problem that lloydd did. I reached out to the band and purchased the CD direct from them. Awesome tunes!

lloydd Never did receive the CD.After numerous disscusions with Metal Assault Records owner and being assured it will arrive it did not. Great CD not so great company. Order at your own risk. Thanks hippygeorge I also reached out to the band and ordered from the band. Thanks Carson as the hippy stated stand up guys, Favorite track: Sink like Stone.
muschiosauro

muschiosauro Unhurried doomy stoner rock that reminds me of Mount Hush, Bask and Jackthehawk, but with a gloomier attitude, a shamanic edge and a superb interplay between male and female vocals creating a truly unique vibe. But there's more to it. A sort of deep, chthonic bond that seems to bind the band members one another, and then goes on to tie the band to their music and the music to a plane where the spirits of past ages rise in all their wise might, and take you by the hand. Favorite track: Sink like Stone.
Absolute Zero
Absolute Zero thumbnail
Absolute Zero I have such fucking love for this band. It's not that the music is mind-blowing, but rather it's how the players come together, & the sound they create that is special. This isn't typical spaced-out psych rock; it's got this nautical feel to it that I haven't heard before (listen to their first album). Adrift at sea, with only the siren-song of Riley's vocal performance, a perfect doom. The Aphrodite's Child cover is really great too. Favorite track: Sink like Stone.
JoopKonraad

JoopKonraad ... the way in which they manage to paint their colorful and naturistic tapestries is simply amazing and has grown to gigantic proportions. Less solemn and precise than on their first album, they move more into a flowing and colorful dimension. ....

1.
Given life to ten thousand beings But never asks to be given meaning Wander around to planes unknown Love and let go and sink like stone Close your eyes to see within Fall behind to begin again An over sharpened knife's blade dulls And where the highway goes no one can know Moving forward into the previous stage Glory or shame, they both cut clear And they appear to burn all that's near Welcome disgrace, it'll guide what you've begun Aimless is the way as the ocean Moving forward into the previous stage Become exhausted to be renewed The essence of wonders becomes anew Moving forward will seem backwards As we return toward an empty reward Moving forward will seem backwards As we return toward an empty reward
2.
Firebird 06:38
Smoke and ash rain down No more home now Burned it all away Take back our mistakes Firebird come to us Burn it all away Firebird come to us Take back our mistakes Firebird come to us Burn it all away Firebird come to us Take it all away
3.
Cold wind rising Stirred up from within Pale horse riding And with it comes the end Who are you to forsake me again and again Wander on, slowly waste away Pillar of smoke lead our way All is dust, deep in the mountains I lay
4.
Isolation 09:21
The hum and rattle of a thousand lonely days We stand before the fire until we burn away Twisted skeletons, a frame to hold the lie Beside your mind, right between the eyes You run for cover, but none can be found You rise up from the mire and vanish without a sound This isolation became to much to ignore From the highest heights down to the floor But for the all of the lies, pale auburn eyes See the smoke through the haze We stand before light fades into night All is consumed by the flames Isolation Isolation
5.
And when the lamb opened the first seal I saw the first horse The horseman held a sword And when the lamb opened the second seal I saw the second horse The horseman held a bow And when the lamb opened the third seal I saw the third horse The horseman held a balance And when the lamb opened the fourth seal I saw the fourth horse The horseman was the pest The leading horse is white The second horse is red The third one is a black The last is a green The leading horse is white The second horse is red The third one is a black The last is a green

"Woodsy Rocky Mountain psychedelia abounded on Boise foursome Ealdor Bealu’s second full-length, and their blend of landscape meditations and grounded heavy progressive melodicism made Spirit of the Lonely Places as much about impact as about space, though of course the real joy was the experience of the entirety. Very much a sophomore album, it learned lessons from 2017’s Dark Water at the Foot of the Mountain that one only hopes the band will continue to push forward in scope as they so gracefully did here."
Top 25 Albums of 2019
-The Obelisk

"Ealdor Bealu have released a forward thinking album with a deeply hidden emotional core that you don’t expect and one that will last long in the memory. Excellent and Highly Recommended."
-Outlaws of the Sun

"...the way in which they manage to paint their colorful and naturistic tapestries is simply amazing and has grown to gigantic proportions. Dynamic by default and demanding your utmost attention the tracks soon nestle in your heart and mind. There is no escaping this Spirit and it will not make you lonely, but yet leave you appreciative and in awe…"
-Stoner Hive

"The strength of Ealdor Bealu resides in that instant power to convey their best vibrations, the feeling of their songs and the true purpose translated into this album as a key message that the connections between the heart and mind are closer than one can imagine."
-La Habitación 235

"...the sophomore release bares its teeth and grins a wicked smile in a massive wall-of-sound array that leans slightly more to the easily digestible for those on the fence... To sum it up simply, Spirit of the Lonely Places is meant for piercing light in dark rooms of their own creation while making one look inward for answers."
-Nanobot Rock

"(Spirit of the Lonely Places) suits Ealdor Bealu's sophomore album, which augments the group's somber vocals and gloomy tunes with muscular rhythms and massive, Black Sabbath-esque guitars."

about

Ealdor Bealu Boise, Idaho

Ealdor Bealu is a progressive heavy-psych quartet from the high desert of Boise, ID.

"Their tunes are atmospheric, sexy even. It’s thinking music. They harbor a slow, building, absolutely bitchin pleasantness, regardless of the riff they play. It seems to always reach higher, conquering more and more plateaus."
